Located near Claysville, PA, Crete Farms is nestled in the center of 164 rolling acres. Surrounded by trees and hayfields, Crete Farms was initiated by a friends request to host a wedding. That first wedding brought incredible interest and many more weddings.
The refurbished barn radiates charm with its horse stalls, 7,200 square foot reception area, indoor restrooms, and rustic décor. Having the convenience of a historic farmhouse to prepare for the day while the groom and his men pass the time in their own separate tack room.
Take advantage of the hayfields, apple trees and various farm buildings for a variety of pictures, use the opportunity of decorating on Friday to fully enjoy your big day.

Meet the family
Crete Farms was purchased in 2015 by Mike and Kathy Makripodis because of Mike’s love of land and Kathy’s desire to reconnect with her hometown. The name “Crete Farms” originated from Mike’s roots, the Greek Island of Crete. Mike was born in Greece but has called America his home and the second Heaven since the 1970’s.
